2. THE SECT - 'Voice Of Reason' - Razor LP - UK - 1987

The Sect's debut album (of the same name) was a tad-over-produced but at least there were some good songs on it. This is one.

3. RED CROSS - 'Cover Band' - Posh Boy 12" - USA - 1980

Red Cross' debut E.P didn't come out until 1981. By that time Greg Hetson had joined The Circle Jerks and he'd re-written this one as 'Live Fast Die Young'.

4. THE GRIDS - 'Hypocrite' - Kings Head 7" - UK - 1980

From Holywell, North Wales. This was on their sole E.P. entitled 'New Anthems'.

5. DOW JONES & THE INDUSTRIALS - 'Hold That Co-Ed' - Gulcher LP - USA - 1980

From the generally disappinting split album 'Hoosier Hysteria!' with the Gizmos. Gimme the 7" any day.

6. THE PAIN - 'Next Time Ego' - Dark 7" - Sweden - 1979

One of two 7"s they bashed out in '79. From Stockholm, I believe.

One from the flipside of their debut 7".

Another debut single, from Hamburg.

Consisting of Richard Hell, Tom Verlaine and Billy Ficca, this track was recorded around '73 but didn't get a release until 1980 with a couple of Voidoids tracks on the flipside.
