Portland punk was not just about Poison Idea. 'We're Not Equal' is up there in my top 10 punk albums and this was the opening track.

The first time we got the 'classic' Rattus sound. From the 'Rattus On Rautaa' E.P.
3. STIFF LITTLE FINGERS - 'Wait And See' - Chrysalis LP - UK - 1980
Second album 'Nobody's Heroes' was a lot cleaner than 'Inflammable Material' but the songs were still up there.
4. RUDIMENTARY PENI - 'The Psycho Squat' - Corpus Christi LP - UK - 1983
'Couldn't stand dummy and maddy no more . . .'  From 'Death Church', of course.
5. THE VALVES - 'It Don't Mean Nothing' - Demo - UK - 1978
Can't believe this first-wave band never got to release an album. This is an early version of their third single.
6. KRUNCH - 'Panik' - Massproduktion 12" - Sweden - 1985
From 'Mys & Kel' (the one with the flying penis on the sleeve).
7. TENPOLE TUDOR - 'Let The Four Winds Blow' - Stiff LP - UK - 1981
The title track from their second album of the same name. 'Rup-la-la-la-diddley day!'
