1. STEVE TREATMENT -
'Hippy Posed Engrossment' - Rather 7" - UK - 1978
Steve was a big Bolan fan. This is from his debut E.P. Some friends from Swell maps are playing the instruments. Double-tracked vocals. Oooooh!
2. THE TOY DOLLS - 'She
Goes To Fino's' - G.B.H. 7" - UK - 1980
The flipside of the original 'Tommy Kowey's Car' single. I'll post the Showbiz Kids version on a future comp.
3. REGAL ZONE - 'Factory
Girl' - XS 7" - UK - 1981
Their sole single but nothing like the Banshees. From Carlisle.
4. TRASH - 'Look' - Polydor 7" - UK - 1977
The flipside of debut 7" 'Priorities'.
5. THE ROWDIES -
'A.C.A.B.' - Bird's Nest 7" - UK - 1978
Sole single, from Worcester. The title stands for 'All Coppers Are Bastards', which was well-known to the coppers so I never understood why people used it. Not that rowdy at all, really.
6. LONDON - 'Summer Of
Love' - MCA 7" - UK - 1977
From a 4-song E.P., and, yes, they were indeed from London. The drummer, John Moss, turned down a vacancy with the Clash to stay in the band, but when they finally split he played in The Damned for a while before going on to join Culture Club. Rumour has it they had a endless supply of blow-up dolls in the van . . .
7. TANZ DER YOUTH - 'I'm
Sorry, I'm Sorry' - Radar 7" - UK - 1978
Sole single from ex-members of the Damned, Hawkwind and Warsaw Pakt. They supported Black Sabbath on tour but the metalheads were less than impressed.

9. THE RED LIGHTS -
'Never Wanna Leave' - Free Range 7" - UK - 1978
Sole single. They were originally called 'The Rats' which means more to the context of the song 'Never wanna leave my sewer . . .' and sleeve.

10. THE MOLESTERS - 'End
Of Civilisation' - Small Wonder 7" - UK - 1979
Second and final single. Not quite as good as the first. Full story with pics here.

11. BLACK EASTER - 'What
The Fuck' - Illuminated 7" - UK - 1982
From their sole 'Ready To Rot' E.P. From Farnborough in Hampshire. The stand-out track.

12. STEVE TREATMENT -
'Heaven Knows (Juvenile Wrecks)' - Backbone 7" - UK - 1979
Second single. He was in Jubilee y'know, and even helped Derek Jarman with the casting. Shame it was arty-farty rubbish.

13. THE TOY DOLLS - 'Worky
Ticket' - G.B.H. 7" - UK - 1981
Another from their E.P. *Note* a 'worky ticket' is a trouble-maker - the phrase originates from the second world war where soldiers would sometimes persistently act up in an attempt to get a discharge . . . they'd be 'working their ticket'.

15.THEY MUST BE RUSSIANS
- 'Psycho Analysis' - Gemme 7" - UK - 1979
From their split 7" with Joe 9T and the Thunderbirds. *Note* - this was their only release - they have nothing to do with the other band of the same name who released a number of records in the '80s.

20. THE TOY DOLLS -
'Everybody Jitterbug' - G.B.H. 7" - UK - 1981
It shouldn't've worked, but it did. The punks didn't mind jitterbugging at all, not that they knew what it was . . .
